This story was reported by the Punch Newspaper on January 3, 2008 and it can be found on page 6 of the newspaper, A murder suspect, Dayo Oluwafemi, 30 year old, has confessed killing a cocoa merchant, Mrs. Fausat Salaudeen, on New Year’s eve, saying that he committed the crime because he thought the deceased had about fifty thousand naira (384 US dollars) on her. Oluwafemi, a taxi driver by profession who hails from Ilesa, Osun State, Western Nigeria, said he slaughtered the deceased at Kajola, where he had taken her to buy cocoa.
According to Oluwafemi, a seer in Igbona area of Oshogbo had predicted that he would never make it in life, saying that his attempt to controvert the prediction led him to kill the woman.
Oluwafemi, who claimed to be married with three children, said he used the #18,000 he collected from the deceased after he had slaughtered and buried her, to drink with his friends at a beer parlor in Oshogbo. By the time he was arrested the police command spokesman, Mr. Joshua Olayemi said #4,000 naira only (30 US dollars only) was recovered from the suspect as he had spent the rest of the #18,000 on frolicking. His wife and friends have also been arrested.
The question I’m asking my readers is that is it possible for one’s future to be written on a blackboard in the sky? Is it possible for a seer to know about the financial situation of one’s life? In as much as I believe in the gift of prophecy, and I know that some people have power to see into the future. I also believe that no one can see the financial progress of one’s life or predict the outcome. God creates humankind and give equal opportunity to everyone irrespective of the gender whether male or female. To each individual, God has given a talent that will help him or her to achieve his earthly desire. Everything depends on how each individual are able to use their talents or gifts to bring or enhance progress into their personal life. Riches and possessions is a gift from God and God give these gifts to all human. God did not created anybody to be poor or rich. Riches and possessions are like sun and rain, God gives to everybody equally irrespective of the religion or creed the person might profess. Only those people among God creations who know how to control this gift by making use of it at the right time will be rich because they know how to observe the season by sowing and reaping at the right season. The possession of money and assets comes as a result of thinking in a right way and those who think in this positive way whether intentionally or unintentionally will become rich irrespective of the religion or creed they might profess. While those who do not think or acts in this way, no matter how religious they are, or how hard they work will unfailingly remain poor.
The saying is mathematically correct and scientifically true that if you want to be rich and you want heaven to smile on you, you definitely had to heal yourself and change your life. You will have to change your lifestyle as well as learn as to provide answer to questions that stems out on a daily basis.
Have you ever think of opening your inner mind to feel the abundance of the universe? Why should you grope in the dark when you have the whole world at your bare feet? When you open yourself to feel the abundance of the universe, you will experience the wonder, the joy and the bliss. You will experience all of the good things that the universe has for you like good wealth, good health, and good nature. You will know that the father has given everything to you and the will of the father is for you to live an abundant life and to live it more abundantly with everything at your beck and call. Humankind has restricted its energy totally to the work of its hands, applying manual labor to the work of its hands and in quest of amending or transforming those already existing. Humankind has never thought of trying to cause the creation of novel forms by impressing thought upon shapeless stuff.
When an individual possess an idea figured out in his mind, he takes stuff from the natural world and creates an image which he had figure out in his mind. Humankind, has so far, not attempted to cooperate with shapeless stuff to work with the Father. The individual has not dreamed that he can do what he saw the Father doing. An individual redesigns and transform existing structure through manual labor and has given no thought to the idea of whether he may produce stuffs from shapeless material by directing his thoughts towards it.
But when you shut yourself off with negative thoughts and stress, you will feel the discomfort, you will feel the pain and you will feel the aches. You will feel as everyday is painful to get through. When a person has manifested a disease in the body temple or some kind of discomfort in their life, it can be alter through the power of positive thinking, the body temple can be turn around if the person focus on manifesting right and positive thoughts about his or her healthy state. Disease can not live or survive in a body that is in a healthy emotional state. If you’ve a disease and you’re focusing on it, and you’re talking to people about it, you’re going to create more disease cells. The healing will not occur until you shift your attention from being sick to being well. Happier thoughts lead to a healthier biochemistry, a healthy body. Negative thoughts and stress seriously degrade the body and the functioning of the brain. It’s our thoughts and emotion that are continuously reassembling, reorganizing, and recreating our body. Remove personal problems and stress from the body and the body does what it was design to do, it rejuvenate and heals itself.
That this saying is true and applicable in human evolution is confirmed by the words of Wallace Wattles in his classic ‘The Science of getting rich’ that ‘a person way of doing things is the direct result of the way he thinks about things. To do things in the way you want to do them, you will have to acquire the ability to think the way you want to think. This is the first step toward getting rich. And to think what you want to think is to think TRUTH, regardless of appearances.
Every individual has the natural and inherent power to think what he wants to think, but it requires far more effort to do so than it does to think the thoughts which are suggested by appearances. To think according to appearances is easy; to think truth regardless of appearances is laborious and requires the expenditure of more power than any other work we are called upon to perform.
There is no labor from which most people shrink as they do from that of sustained and consecutive thought. It is the hardest work in the world. This is especially true when truth is contrary to appearances. Every appearance in the visible world tends to produce a corresponding form in the mind which observes it, and this can only be prevented by holding the thought of the TRUTH.
To look upon the appearances of poverty will produce corresponding forms in your own mind, unless you hold to the truth that there is no poverty; there is only abundance. To think health when surrounded by the appearances of disease or to think riches when in the midst of the appearances of poverty requires power, but whoever acquires this power becomes a master mind. That person can conquer fate and can have what he wants. When we realize this we lose all doubt and fear, for we know that we can create what we want to create, we can get what we want to have, and can become what we want to be.’
How can you conquer fate and become a master mind? The only way you can conquer fate and become a master mind is to think TRUTH regardless of appearance? How can this be achieved? This can be achieved through right thinking by focusing your attention on positive thoughts your financial life will be turn around if you focus on manifesting right and positive thoughts about your financial life, you are going to feel and have the abundance that the father has already prepared for you. Poverty is a disease, it is a cankerworm like cancer and it can only live and survive within the mind and body of a person that is in a poor emotional state. Poverty can not live in the body or survive in the mind of a person that is in a healthy financial state. If you are from a poor family and if you are focusing on your family class, you are talking and reminding everyone that you ever met in your life that you are from a poor family and you are telling all the men and women that would have ever been your friend that you came from a wretched family. The result is that all friends that might be of help to you will run away from you, and you will continue to attract miserable, underprivileged and wretched people into your life. Your financial life will not change and you will continue to find yourself in deep financial mess.
The basic fact is that you are not going to be wealthy until you focus and shift your attention from being poor to being rich. Good thoughts lead to a good life, abundant thoughts to abundant life. Positive thoughts and enjoyment couple with satisfaction slightly revitalize the body and the performance of the brain. It’s our thoughts and our emotion that are constantly, rearranging, reinvigorating, reorganizing, and recreating our body. If we remove negative thoughts and worry from our life, the human body does what it was design to do, it renew and repair itself.
Ramon Baron my teacher once told me that ‘there is no blackboard in the sky in which God has written your purpose, your mission in life. It doesn’t exist, so your purpose is what you say it is. Your mission is the mission you give yourself. Your life will be what you create it and no one will stand in judgment of it, not now or ever’. If you want to be rich, all you need to do is to take action by doing things in the certain way which the rich and wealthy always does it. You can’t say you want to be rich and fold your arms doing nothing. You have got to plant in your farmland before you can harvest. If you lend out your farmland (capital) to another person, you will be getting parts of the profit at the end of the farming season. It is still better than allowing your capital to be in the standstill. When you have abundance in your life, you will surely experience Joy, love, freedom, happiness, that’s what it is. Inner happiness is the fuel of success.
You deserve to be happy, to do something, to add value to this world, to be the best you can be. Regardless, of what has happen to you in your life. Regardless of how young or how old you think you might be, the moment you begin to think properly that you are created for success not for failure, you will move up in your life learning from your past failure and achieving more success in whatever projects or target you set for yourself.
